Frequently Asked Questions

HEMP / CBD

How is your hemp CBD oil made?
  • Our unique hemp CBD oil is always naturally made without the use of harmful chemicals, gasses or toxic solvents.
  • Our hemp CBD products are made with naturally extracted hemp CBD oil which used only low heat (under 180 degrees) and pressure to ensure the highest quality, therapeutic hemp CBD oil that contains the full spectrum of Cannabinoids, terpenes and bioactive compounds.
  • We never use over-processed CBD isolates or chemically extracted CBD.

Are you hemp CBD products tested?

YES! We use reputable Oregon accredited and licensed labs.

Please see product descriptions for test results.

Do your products contain less than 0.3% Total THC?

  • YES! All our hemp CBD products are derived from Oregon hemp in full compliance with the 2018 Farm bill and Oregon Department of Agriculture.

  • All hemp CBD products contain less than 0.3% TOTAL THC and are NOT psychoactive.

Where do you get your hemp?

We only use naturally grown and tested Oregon hemp from reputable ODA (Oregon Department of Agriculture) registered hemp farms that are free of pesticides and chemicals.

We only use quality hemp carefully grown for high CBD.

Are your products Full Spectrum?

Yes! All our products are full spectrum and contain all the natural bioavailable compounds found in hemp including cannabinoids, Terpenes and Flavonoids that work together to create a greater benefit than CBD alone.

What is the Entourage Effect?

The beneficial effects from the synergistic interaction of the full spectrum of the Cannabinoids, Terpenes, Flavonoids and fatty acids naturally found in hemp.

Scientists have shown that full spectrum CBD products provide greater benefits at lower milligrams than CBD isolates.

How to find quality hemp CBD products?

1st – Where was the hemp sourced?

Look for hemp from a state with very strict growing and testing rules. For example Oregon has over 400 pesticides and the hemp must be tested before it is processed which is why Oregon hemp is considered one of the best and safest in the country.

2nd – How was the hemp CBD oil extracted?

There are natural and chemical ways to extract CBD. Unfortunately a lot of “CBD Oil” is made using chemically extracted CBD or CBD isolate that mix with an oil base (coconut oil, olive oil, hemp seed oil).

3rd – What other ingredients are in the product?

Look at the other ingredients to make sure they are all natural and not packed full of harmful chemicals or artificial ingredients.

4th – Are there reputable third party test results?

Look for potency results to ensure you’re actually getting Cannabinoids and not hemp seed oil. If the CBD is chemically extracted look for a “Residual Solvent” test which measures the levels of the toxic chemical left in the CBD extract or oil.

What are Chemical CBD Extracts?

  • Chemical CBD Extracts use chemicals, toxic solvents and/or gasses to extract CBD and other Cannabinoids from the hemp plant.
  • Chemicals: Common chemicals used include alcohol, butane, propane, hexane, Naphtha, Co2 and ethanol.
  • Chemical CBD Extracts: Common chemical CBD extracts includ Co2 Oil, Distillates, Crude oil, BHO (Butane Honey Oil), PHO (Propane Honey Oil), RSO (Rick Simpson Oil).
  • Chemical extraction methods are popular because they are cost effective and provide a potent extract. The downside is they use harmful chemicals, gasses or toxic solvents that can be difficult to remove. Even C02 can be dangerous as it is highly corrosive and can also add metal from the processing machine to the CBD extract.
  • Most companies use this type of CBD for their products, mix it with a base oil and call it “CBD oil”. These type chemical CBD extracts often referred to as CBD Co2 Extract, crude oil, isolate or even just the generic terms CBD, can be easily purchased online from both US and foreign countries with little to no regulation.
  • We do not use any chemical CBD extracts as we believe they can be harmful.

What CBD Isolates?

  • This is isolated CBD with no other cannabinoids, terpenes or other beneficial compounds.
  • This type of CBD is NOT a full spectrum as it only contains 1 cannabinoid, CBD, and doesn’t have the medicinal value as a full spectrum product that includes other cannabinoids.
  • Making CBD Isolates: These take the already chemically extracted CBD and further refine it to isolate just the CBD.
  • Many companies are using isolates mixed with hemp seed oil and calling it full spectrum or broad spectrum….it is NOT. Please don’t be fooled.
  • Isolates have shown to be less effective, require a higher dose and don’t have the benefits associated with using a full spectrum product.
  • We do not use CBD isolates as we feel they don’t provide any substantial value.

What are Cannabinoids?

  • Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds.

2 MAIN TYPES OF CANNABINOIDS:

  • Phytocannabinoids / Exocannabinoids: Externally produced from plants. Can be found in hemp, hops, chocolate, black pepper, Echinacea, flaxseeds, mangoes, walnuts etc…

  • Endocannabinoids: Internally produced by our bodies. Act as fuel in our Endocannabinoid System (biological system in the body that helps regulate and balance key bodily functions).

What are the 5 major Cannabinoids?

(1) Cannabidiol (CBD): Non-psychoactive, found in hemp. Known for various benefits.

(2) Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC): The only cannabinoid that is psychoactive. Predominantly found in marijuana.

(3) Cannabinol (CBN): Non-psychoactive, found in hemp, known to provide a relaxing, sleepy feeling.

(4) Cannabichromene (CBC): Non-psychoactive, found in hemp.

(5) Cannabigerol (CBG): Non-psychoactive, found in hemp, known to help support other cannabinoids.

What is the Endocannabinoid System?

The primary system in our body that manages and monitors our organs and some of our most vital life functions to maintain homeostasis. It is powered by Cannabinoids that provide the fuel to operate and keep us healthy.

Consists of a network of Cannabinoid receptors:

— CB1 receptors found in the brain, central nervous system and organ tissue

— CB2 receptors found in the immune system, digestive system and our extremities.

Does Hemp Seed Oil Contain CBD?

NO! Hemp seed oil is great for cooking and to use in products but it does not contain any substantial amount of CBD’s or other Cannabinoids.

If you’re looking for CBD’s find a whole plant CBD hemp product that contains the full spectrum of Cannabinoids.

Why don't you sell your CBD products on Amazon?

We would love to but currently Amazon doesn’t allow CBD products.
